The 2007 SEAF Awards Program
September 20, 2007
The SEAF Board of Directors is proud to announce the 2007 SEAF Awards Program. In keeping with our mission, our awards program has been created to:
q
Recognize excellence in facilitation
practices
q
Promote awareness of the role of
facilitation in achieving results
q
Reward the use of facilitation
within organizations and our communities
q
Acknowledge outstanding contributions
by SEAF members
q
Promote SEAF as a vehicle for
advancing facilitation skills
The Awards Program represents your chance to
recognize both clients and facilitators for their outstanding use of
facilitation to achieve results. The award
also recognizes the partnership that facilitators and clients must develop to
improve the organization.
q The Facilitation Impact Awards, for excellence in achieving impact through
facilitation, will be given to each client and the corresponding facilitator at
the following levels of achievement:
q The Facilitator of the Year Award will be given to the SEAF member who most advances the
field of facilitation through such activities as innovative practices,
participation in the industry, publications, etc.
q The President’s Award will be presented by our Board President to the SEAF
member who demonstrates contributions to the association that go “above and
beyond the call of duty.”
Guidelines:
q
To
qualify, the client must be based in the region served by SEAF: Alabama,
Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and
Tennessee.
q
A
client or a facilitator may be included in only one submission. Self-nominations are encouraged. The President’s Award is excluded from the
nominations process.
q The facilitated project must have started, finished or
had significant activity during the eighteen months prior to the submission
